LogoRRR Help

Settings, languages, and licensing

Configure LogoRRR language, clipboard, files, timestamps, favorites, archives, windows, and Pro access.

Open Settings… from the application menu or press Shortcut+,. Changes made through Apply & Close are persisted; closing or pressing Escape dismisses the reusable window without applying a new draft.

Language

Choose the application language from the language selector. Visible settings and supported application surfaces update without restarting. The selected language persists for later launches.

Locale-aware timestamp display defaults follow the application language. An explicit custom timestamp pattern remains stable when the language changes.

Clipboard copy

Choose Full media for HTML, text, and image context, or Text only for plain text. The choice applies to later uses of the main copy action. See Copy and export evidence .

Open files and per-file behavior

Select an open filename to edit settings for that source:

  • font size and heatmap block size;
  • block, text, and timeline visibility;
  • whether live tail starts when the file opens;
  • whether Unclassified rows are initially visible;
  • a per-file timestamp override.

Per-file values let different log formats coexist in the same workspace.

Timestamp defaults

Global timestamp settings provide defaults for files that do not already have an explicit override. Choose Enable & Initialize when no settings exist, then define the column range and time pattern.

The dedicated timestamp editor shows sample source lines and can propose values only when you press its dice button. See Time patterns and timeline before applying an unfamiliar pattern.

Favorites

Favorites are reusable search-term groups. Each group can contain several Literal or Regex patterns and their visual settings. Reorder, recolor, add, or remove terms to keep a useful investigation vocabulary.

Saving a favorite stores the search definitions, not matching log contents.

Archive extraction

Choose the default unpack root for support bundles. Every archive receives its own destination folder. If the saved root becomes unavailable, LogoRRR requests a usable folder before extraction starts.

Window position and size

The window editor shows the configured screen and geometry. Move or resize the visual window representation, then choose Apply & Close. Main and detached window geometry can also be restored from normal application use.

Factory defaults

Reset to Factory Defaults returns configurable application settings to their defaults. It does not rewrite source logs. Review any custom favorites, archive location, timestamp defaults, and window preferences before resetting.

LogoRRR Pro and licensing

LogoRRR Pro unlocks complete access to files beyond the Free preview boundary and enables complete-file workflows such as chronological merge. The purchase or restore controls depend on the distribution channel:

  • macOS store builds use the platform purchase and restore flow;
  • direct-license builds can open external checkout and verify a license;
  • supported legacy ownership can continue to grant full access.

Normal log analysis remains local. Licensing checks and user-initiated purchase or documentation links can use the network. Direct-license restore sends the entered email address and restore code to the licensing service for verification.
